Tom Lieberman began playing his original songs in Minneapolis cafes at 16. An original member of vocal jazz trio, Rio Nido, Tom also performed and was a creative force for 10-years on Garrison Keillor’s A Prairie Home Companion. Over the past 4+ decades, Tom has been a celebrated writer, composer, and producer for radio, television, stage and screen, providing award-winning creative and production for The Jim Henson Company, PBS, Disney and Discovery channels, and Fortune 500 companies.

Tom’s songs and musical direction have been featured extensively - from Sesame Street to the award-winning film, ”Sweet Land.” Tom is currently supervising the soundtrack for an animated film adaptation of Jerry Spinelli’s novel, Milkweed, and developing a family entertainment brand starring “everyone’s favorite talking ukulele,” Luke the Uke.
