Tamar Fenton

Care in Concert

Tamar Fenton has held leadership roles in nonprofit organizations throughout her career, including the past 15 years as Senior Leadership Giving Officer at the Minnesota Jewish Community Center. After earning her MSW and MA, she moved to Minnesota, where she and her husband, David, raised their four children.

Tamar became involved with The Patient Revolution following her youngest daughter Liel’s tragic experience in the healthcare system. Motivated to help re-center the “care” in healthcare, improve the patient experience, and advance conditions that support diagnostic excellence, Tamar has shared Liel’s story at national conferences, in medical education curricula, and in a PBS NewsHour segment highlighting The Patient Revolution.
