Klara Savic

Klara Savic is a Clinical Genetics resident at the University Medical Centre Ljubljana and a student of Integrative Psychotherapy at the Institute for Integrative Psychotherapy and Counseling in Ljubljana. She is at the beginning of her research journey, exploring how emotional regulation may support meaningful dialogue in shared decision-making.

Klara is passionate about bringing more awareness to emotions in medical consultations, recognizing that care is not only built on information and patient education, but also on presence and the clinician’s ability to meet their patients authentically.

Her clinical interests include prenatal genetic counseling and supporting members of the Deaf community in navigating genetic services with dignity, understanding, and cultural awareness.
